Mahogany
The term "mahogany" is used when referring to a number of various dark-colored
wood. Mahogany has a bendy, thick and rough grain characteristics, and is relatively free of voids
and pockets. It has a reddish brown color which darkens over time, and shows a
beautiful reddish sheen when polished. It is known to have excellent workability, and is very
durable and slow to rot.
